Last night was a beautiful evening for a drive. The weather was great and the temperatures mild. So it was the perfect setting as our group met up at the base of the Broad River Bridge in Beaufort, and cruised together to the Mellow Mushroom in Bluffton for our meeting. We may or may not have "cruised" a little faster in some places than others, but I"m just going to blame that on the traffic (cough, cough).
Speaking of traffic, with it being Friday night, apparently everyone heard we planned to go grab some pizza and they came too. OK, maybe not everyone heard we were going- but a lot of people showed up to get pizza about the same time we did and the Mellow Mushroom was packed full upon our arrival. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoyed the food and the weather.
With good food, laughter, great discussions, and just all around enjoying each other's company I"m surprised we don't meet up more than once a month. Oh wait...we do!
