Three from our group made it to the show AND we were first in line!
October 12, 2018 started out with cool fall temps in the low 50s. It wasn't the alarm clocks or smell of coffee that got the blood flowing on this morning however. It was the sweet sound of purring engines and rumbling exhaust as foxbody after foxbody headed out from the hotel to the Intimidator Stadium. Gates were set to open at 8am so we arrived promptly at 7am and took the first spots in line at the gate. It wasn't 2 minutes later more foxbodies began to arrive and line up for a good half mile. While we waited we watched the guys at the swap meet setting up all the merchandise. If you needed a part for your fox, it was probably there.
The gates opened and the cars continued to flow in the rest of the morning, all taking their places side by side.
What was it like to be there? Well, I can't share the smells- there was this Barbeque that had everyone drooling... BUT, our very own Brandon Rickborn captured some sights and sounds that give you a pretty good idea in this Video
There may have been a little souvenir shopping....
